So pleased to welcome Vanessa Drucker to Syncresis as a Senior Writer on the team! Her combination of finance expertise and creative finesse, with extensive experience in financial journalism and a background in the humanities, makes her an excellent fit for the work we do.


About Vanessa Drucker

Vanessa has worked as a corporate communications writer in financial industries for over 25 years, writing for both major corporations and magazines. She was American Editor for Fund Strategy, a UK print magazine for asset managers. She has also contributed articles to numerous financial and business publications, including Financial Times Online, FT Investment Advisor, Crain’s NY Business, Barron’s, Financial Executive, Global Custodian, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial History, Financial Planning, On Wall Street, Business Credit, Wealth Manager, On Investing (Schwab), Business Advisor (Wells Fargo), Global Finance, Global (Deloitte & Touche), and Asset Securitization Report.

She is also a former Wall Street attorney. Before starting her career in corporate communications, she worked as an attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, focusing on asset-backed financing deals, securities, and banking law.  She has had wide-ranging experience in Europe and works in French, German, and Italian.

She holds an MA from Cambridge University, England, and is admitted to the New York Bar.  She has a BSc from the University of London in Banking and Finance.

She specializes in writing, editing, and research across a wide range of thought leadership and marketing content formats. In her work, Drucker draws on both her legal and academic background. As an attorney, she brings clear and precise communication to convey the message simply and directly. As a content creator, she draws on creative skills. Undergraduate studies in Ancient Greek at Cambridge University originally developed her interest in storytelling, which she now applies to business and financial narratives.
