A Plea for Purposeful Creation

Once you start thinking about “content,” it’s over.

You’re already in a world of bottomless, numberless containers that need to be filled for their own sake.

You’re already shouting messages no one wants to hear into holes no one wants to be in. You’re creating meaningless tokens that have no value outside of a game that no one wants to play.

It’s sad and desperate and unnecessary and there’s only one thing you need to do. Stop it.

Stop feeding slot machines instead of building relationships. Stop creating content and start exchanging meaning.

It doesn’t have to be the end. One subtle change, and it becomes the beginning.
