I always think of that comment and the sad sigh accompanying it when I see people going on about their lifestyle and revenue and how if you just buy their course or whatever, etc., etc.

You’re paying for their future lifestyle bragging. Their past customers are paying for the current lifestyle bragging.

Eventually, you stop wanting to visit a place that you used to like because it’s too loud and crowded with people spending your attention while schmoozing new clients.

You could still go there and try not to look. Or you could start cutting them off so that the caviar and champagne stop flowing.
